CULTURAL INCLUSIVITY & DIVERSITY
The key to enhance creative conversations leading to a more sustainable way of working in the fashion industry.
Born & raised in Africa, with origins from Lebanon, RENWA YASSIN in the midst of both cultures, understands their ties. “Cultures have no barriers” & that resonated in the designer’s commitment to bring culture heritage at the core of her maison.”

Lebanon’s heritage and Africa’s craftsmanship know-how are the designer’s inspiration to SS21 collection. With RENWA’s atelier set in both countries, she owes it to the people she works with. “I grew up in Côte d’Ivoire and it
felt innate to be here, building a loyal community who understands my mission in working with sustainbale fabrics.”

RENWA’s signature is minamilism yet her pieces reflect a couture feel with hand-made fabrics such as ropes & rafia seen in this collection; A natural African fabric that comes from Arecaceae palm trees family woven by African women & men.

The theme of SS21 Collection heritage is inspired by the African & Lebanese culture strong bond. The collection gives homage to the designer’s roots. SS21 collection is an expression of freedom & lightness for a life pause.. & just dance.
